Hey, wow this cool new fatty acid, might have a use in IBS .... it is called, "butyrate!"

Scientists Propose Using Fatty Acid to Treat Crohn's Disease

Sound familiar? Could it be because when we eat LCHF enough, our OWN BODIES produce this, without even benefit of FDA approval?

The largest by product of eating a resistant starch is butyrate, go figure

Beta hydroxy butyrate is what you see when testing for blood ketones.

Also sodium butyrate has been used for Crohn's.
