Default Grain Brain

I'm in the middle of reading Dr. David Perlmutter's book, Grain Brain. It's wonderful, scary and validating of the LCHF lifestyle. It parallels for the brain what Dr. William Davis did with the cardiovascular and digestive health in Wheat Belly. Both would be great resources for family member who are interested.

Here's a brief artlcle and a link for amazon for the book:

I bought this book a few months ago - it's definitely worth reading.

I will give it a try. I have heard mixed things about Wheat Belly (the bad being that there are a lot of logical jumps and unsupported claims), but I would like to read it, too. Good Calories, Bad Calories is kind of my Bible, but am always always always looking for more resources. I am jealous of how much people on here know! Thanks for the recommendation.

For a chuckle (and a contrary opinion), read Gene Logsdon's Overdosing On Bread | The Contrary Farmer Not that I'm eating bread like he does, but then I haven't been a strenuously active farmer for decades. He DOES eat lots of protein, fat, etc with great gusto and eats pretty much only stuff he & his large local family circle (multiple families) grow on their small, diversified farms without modern 'assistance' from herbicides, pesticides etc.
