Default I am asking to go on a pump

I know the entire process takes a while. My appt is next Thursday and I have had frustration after frustration ever since my October URI.

Now for the second time I have had a hypo due to delayed stomach emptying, too! A pump would come in handy for THAT.

I do not want the diagnostics or pharmacotherapy for GP, however. Not yet, at least. But if I get better control, I have read I might be able to reverse this at least to some extent!

It's a good decision - I hope the red tape will be short!

Sounds like a good decision. You have struggled for so long, here's hoping the pump will work well for you.

Great plan, Foxl. Really, I didn't have to do much paperwork, etc. to get my pump. The manufacturer's reps did all the coordinating between my insurer and endo.

The manufacturers really want to sell these things so they'll work for you.

Its exciting though! Have you decided which one you want?

I am thinking Minimed, I know ppl get hooked on one brand or another, I am sure EVERYONE will be coming out with that "suspend" feature, soon, but I would hate to have to learn new systems over and over.
