Havent had a flu shot ..ever. I'm allergic to doctors and needles. I felt a little 'off' the other day, after sitting in a warm breeze. I've always been that way. It can rather rain. I took my good 'ol Corenza c and cherry halls and bright as a daisy I was the next day.

I get a flu shot every year, and have for at least the last 15 years. I have never had any adverse reaction to the shot so I don't see any reason not to but I know it is a preventative only and not a guarantee that you still can't get the flu. I just hope that it may be helpful in preventing problems. I haven't had the flu in years but it won't keep you from getting a cold and I have been dealing with one for the last two weeks.

The biggest lie I tell myself is "I don't need to write that down. I'll remember it"

I usually get worst flu/cold/bronchitis late spring or early summer. I remember when the swine flu scare came thru in late 70s. I took the vaccine for it and went 3 years without getting a sniffle.

FWIW, last week at my 6 month check with my endo, she stressed the importance of vit D being high to actually prevent colds and flu to me since I don't take the flu shot. I'm on a lot of it right now because I'm traveling by air for the holidays.
