Correct as usual! They've just opened what is now called Mälarpromenaden which is a number of circuits in and around Lake Mälaren as well as through Hallunda where I live and neighbouring Norsborg and Fittja. I've just discovered some ancient ruins that I didn't realise existed here which can be seen in the photos below. They are situated at the top of a large steep hill which I scaled for the first time yesterday hence the discovery.

Walking yesterday 10/14 4.54 miles, 11,521 steps 6679 aerobic ( 68 min. ) Leaving shortly for my little vacation. I'll have 5 hours driving so I don't know how much walking I can do today but we will see.

Well arrived yesterday after 4 1/2 hours of driving at about 2:30 pm and was surprised to end the day with 4.79 miles walking. 12,145 steps, 4020 Aerobic ( 43 min. ) Not so many aerobic because of lots of short back and forth but there is a nice walk along the river behind the hotels and I was able t do a mile continuous there. Much more enjoyable than going in circles in my yard.

Posting a little later today. I was going to try and post some pictures but I can't get the card reader on my laptop to work so I will have to wait until I get home. Lots of walking back and forth and then along the river walkway. 6.29 miles yesterday, 15,968 steps with 8030 aerobic ( 85 min. ) I stopped taking the med my Cardiologist prescribed because it made my heartbeat really fast, I could feel it beating in my chest at night like a scared rabbit so I stopped taking it Monday and back to normal. Without it I am happy how I am able to improve. I was here last April and had a hard time walking from the parking structure to the hotel, about 1/10 mile. now it seems the more I walk the better it is getting so I don't think I willneed the med. Hope I am not boring people too much but it helps keep me honest if I make myself post every day

Going for my strength training/weight workout with trainer in a bit. Probably need to do more walking.

Yesterday was a twelve mile hike /deer hunt.

This morning was an hour on the exercise bike, with another hour this evening.

Surprised myself yesterday. 8.11 total miles, 20,563 steps. 8504 aerobic ( 89 min ) that was the extent of dedicated walking, the rest was wandering around from place to place. Amazing how much walking you do without really thinking about it. Well getting ready to start back home. It will be different to be back walking the little circle in my yard. I'm going to have to find some places close to home more enjoyable to " take a hike "
