Oops falling behind!
Thursday, Feb. 6: 1 hour circuit training class, not quite as strenuous as Tuesday's class, thank goodness.

Saturday, Feb. 8: 1 hour water circuit class - I love this class, it's so early and I'm set for the rest of the day.

Shoveling snow and trudging through 10" of snow back and forth to the pump house every hour! Until the pipe thaws.

Put on my long biking britches and rode 9.5 miles. Only 35F but road was clear and dry, so no black stripe up my back. Going to Red Lobster for two grandsons birthday suppers, so a short ride.

Bigskye I'm thinking that embarking on an exercise regime would depend on your current level of fitness and how well your BGLs are under control.

Certainly something like swimming or gentle water aerobics would be a good start.

Walking, if able, is great for both body and soul.

Some of the members have been able to up their exercise, as you can see, biking, gym classes etc.

IMO starting slow and steady is probably the way to go.

Saturday 8th, long walk with dogs, home, washed dogs. I think washing the dogs was the most strenuous part - laundry room covered in water and suds due to the 'shake, rattle n roll' that the naughty things thought was great fun. Hilarious really, can't be cross with them.

Well it's easy to get some walking in here. Nice walkways along the river and lots of walking from one Casino to the other.
I ate a lot today and my Fitbit app is screaming at me that I am 566 calories over my target, LOL. I don't pay any attention to the calories but Fitbit insists on tracking them. I was quite high on both fat and protein today but my highest reading was an hour after dinner 114 so I'm not too worried about it.

Ran out of metformin 2 or 3 days ago. Went and got some today, but gonna wait and see how my BG does for a few more days before popping the cap.

Oh, rode my bike to get it. 14.3 miles to Walmart and you guessed it, just as far back. So 28.6 miles, no rain but humid enough had water dripping off my brim and soaked through and through. Only thing really cold were my feet. Did I mention I caught the high of the day to ride, 38F.

About 90 minutes in the gym. I actually prefer the outdoors but rainy today and that means muddy and slushy in the mountains.

When I was here in Laughlin in October I was able to do 8 miles one day so I wanted ti see if I could again. I made the 8 miles and over 20K steps so it made me happy. Really nice here this weekend, high temp 75 deg F and sunny and clear.
Sunday, 2/9 walking
8.54 miles, 21,646 steps, a new record for this old fart,
