All that walking and biking would make you the "pin up boy" for CABG recovery.

Longest ride since CABG has been 42-43 miles but I had been riding daily when I did that. I had not been released back to work then and time was always available.

Getting in steps walking and putting miles on the bike for a couple of years prior to CABG had to have helped with the recovery process too. I asked the surgeon about cardio rehab at my one month post-surgery appointment, was told I didn't need it when I told him I averaged 10,200 steps a day since going home. Would hate to think of what shape I would have been in had I not already started trying to take care of myself. Poster child for a casket company maybe???

Marathon grocery shopping. Sure would be nice to get everything we need at the same place and at similar prices instead of running around to 4-6 different stores/markets.

For the first time this year, I did not hit my 10,000 steps. I am so disappointed in myself. Had I not procrastinated all day long, I wouldn't have gotten caught in the storm tonight. I simply ran out of time. 3,810 steps.

Well I got a fully charged tracker this morning. It went to sleep sometime around noon yesterday, low battery, I discovered it around 5 pm and about thru with walking the puppy. Turning it on it showed about 4500 steps before going to sleep again. My intent has been to get to all 30 days showing that I met my daily goal. Only 4 days to meeting that intent. So after supper, another 8600 steps got me past my goal. Had 13,177 on the Garmin, the iPhone Heath app showed 22,684.

I'm not sure what has happened to my energy level this last week.

I finished up with 5.2 miles today, but it took everything I had...

That's about the way I feel most every day Cricket. And there was a time I could outwalk everybody I knew-with a kid on my hip.
