I think pig wrestling counts too. If not it should, worked up a good sweat trying to help load a pig in a trailer to carry it to its new owner. After the pig whipped two of us trying to pick it up and put it in the trailer, we found a ramp and a bucket of feed. With a little persuasion and the taste of grain, the pig walked up the ramp into the trailer.

Didn't ride the bike this morning, but plan on getting in a ride closer to dark. Put in 6000 steps on the back porch this morning and at 8500 so far today.

Rode the same 15 mile ride yesterday as I did the day before. Ate more carbs at breakfast time - a carbquick biscuit, 5 cherries, and a fig - and my usual BPC. Forgot to check BG before heading out, but didn't have the higher BG after the ride. The breakfast carbs and after ride protein drink did seem to carry over and contribute to a higher FBG today.

Got lucky Saturday afternoon and got a rain that knocked the temperature down from 102F to mid 70's. Took advantage of it and got in a 20 mile bike ride. Similar circumstance Monday and rode the same 20 mile route. This morning I woke up early and with the Tour de France being over, I decided to go ahead and ride this morning. Only went 16 miles, but this route has a pretty steep hill to ride up, and I can feel it tonight.

man i miss seeing the tour what with all of the scandal and all and me dumping the satellite dish. it was the greatest display of grit and determination i'd ever seen. but it turned out to be like watching clowns running for president. no integrity. haven't been on a road bike in 35 years-mbuster you da man!

Another early start (if you want to call 7 AM early) today, rode 27 miles. Not riding nearly as much as I was, but trying to get started back. I got to not play catch up though, because I felt really zapped today, but that may be because I didn't eat until I got back.

I can't even imagine how the tour riders do it day after day after day, not to mention how far and fast they ride.

Nothing yesterday.

Today I rode about 12-13 miles, forgot to start my bike computer timer when I took off and just happened to look down at it to see it had powered itself down after going a couple of miles.

Start graveyard shift tonight so steps will be picking up. Been on vacation and a long off.

We had plans to go out of town, but that was all changed with a new slick bottom flip flop and/or a sunken spot in the ground. Got another vacation this month, so all is not lost. Opportunity may be like a fine wine, it gets better with age.

There is a bight side, even though I didn't get in may steps, i consistently got more in than she did.
