I didn't make the connection until it was explained on The Talking Dead either. TWD wouldn't be the same experience without TTD.

I know! I'm amazed at how much I miss in each episode. Maybe that's a good reason to get a bigger TV? I'm just missing too much with a 20 inch.

Is this show suitable for a 13 year old to watch, my son loves Zombie cartoons/characters but I haven't seen this show. Thoughts? Thanks.

I think so. My daughter is 10 and we just started watching it from Season 1 on Netflix.

In this home, the 12 and 20 year olds love it. Its a too scarey the 8 year old. Ymmv depending on the child and parenting style.
