I will be thinking of you all day. I know exactly how you feel. It is ok to feel excited and scared all at the same time. Let us know how you are doing and good luck!

UNREAL that they brought all the incorrect foods.

afterall, youre only IN A HOSPITAL

it really is unreal sometimes.

Your wife is wonderful, major karma points to her for being a good person

and we as diabetics wonder why those that love us and have no clue, believe EVERYTHING that the medical "professionals" say ::smh::

Well, I am truly sorry that you have to spend the night at a hospital, but if you need to be there, just remember that fruit juice seems to have no carb value while you are in the hospital! Seeing that you are at 9 pain level, it is best you that they decided to keep you overnight. I hope you didn't plan on sleeping...lol! Just when you close your eyes the shift change will come around and you will be yet introduced to another new person! I hope things look better for you in the morning!

Great news that the surgery went well . . . shaking head at ever more evidence that docs/hospitals have no clue about diabetes management. Looking forward to more progress reports.

. . . and now I'm going back to bed. Sleep study last night, so of course I haven't had much sleep . . . just got home.
