Default seems like nuts would help to control any spiking since they have a lot more saturated fat.

If I were to eat really badly, vis, a burger, fries and coke, I'd see a 200 point jump very quickly without insulin. Even with insulin it'd be a mess.

Same deal if I ate what would normally be considered "healthy," that is, rice and steamed vegetables with whole grain bread.

Its stunning to me how long it's taken to sift through the vast clutter of misinformation out there!

Pilot's great question "and what is truth"? remains the deepest mystery.
