It sounds like your cat caused some trouble. I would not have been unkind to the cat either. The cat appreciated your meal.

Whether I would eat it or throw it in the garbage would depend on how much money I had. If I was real poor, I would have eaten it. It would also depend on how hungry I was. Did I have enough time to fix another meal?

The food must have been great for you to eat it. It is all right Richard, we get our germs from our cats and dogs anyway. Vice Versa, too.

Jehovah God gave us legs to walk, to exercise, to grow our own food and to live close to our work.

Satan gave us automobiles, computers, TV and movies so we could be couch potatoes. Just think, we can sit in front of our computer all day and wonder why we do not have time to exercise. We can use our automobile so we do not have to walk anywhere.

We make our own decisions whether we want to be tempted to be lazy or go and do things.

Thank you Richard, I will look it up later.

I have not had any complications, except for seizures. I also have epilepsy. Some of them may be caused by my diabetes.

Richard, mother nature certainly got it right in her original food blueprint, there are some great natural medicines in the range.

The Devil got me this time. My A1c went from 5.6 to 11.5.

I had added fig newtons, without checking my BG. It raised my BG over 100 more than what it should have been.

My husband has bought pies, cakes and all sorts of other goodies. I caved in.

My husband says that I have to use will power. Easier said than done. I have my BG back from 256 to about 110. I took his advice. I hope I can keep it up.

Ten Commandments

Some people have trouble with all those 'shalls' and 'shall nots' in the Ten Commandments. Folks just aren't used to talking in those terms. So, in middle Tennessee they translated the 'King James' into ' Jackson County ' language. No joke (posted on the wall at Cross Trails Church in Gainesboro , TN ).

1 Just one God.
2 Put nothin' before God.
3 Watch yer mouth.
4 Git yourself to Sunday meetin'.
5 Honor yer Ma & Pa.
6 No killin'.
7 No foolin' around with another fellow's gal.
8 Don't take what ain't yers.
9 No tellin' tales or gossipin'.
10 Don't be hankerin' for yer buddy's stuff.

Now that's plain an' simple.

Y'all have a nice day now, ya hear !

And bless your little heart.
