Thanks Bugg, I really like that!! I grew up in south central Virginia, and many of the folks I knew back then talked that way.

I am a Jehovah's Witness and I prefer to read the 10 commandents the way it is in my Bible.

That church is making fun of the Bible. What other changes have they made in the Bible?

Excuse me?! It's a joke, for gosh sake.

No apology is necessary Ruth... I am new to the forum and though this was a joke thread... I apologize to you and anyone else I may have offended.

Hi Bugg,

It is a joke thread, so let's think of something fun to put in. I will not take it seriously.

Default Three Nurses Go To Heaven

And Saint Peter is waiting for them at the Pearly Gates.

He asks the first nurse what she had done while on Earth. She replied, "I was an emergency room nurse. I helped patients when they needed it the most. Some made it and I was able to provide comfort to them. Unfortunately, others did not, but I comforted their families."

Saint Peter checks his computer (it is 2011, you know!) and says to the ER nurse, "Welcome to Heaven!" The ER nurse enters the Pearly Gates.

The second nurse comes up and Saint Peter asks her the same question. She replies, "I was a nurse for Hospice. I tended to patients during their final days and provided comfort for them."

Saint Peter checks his computer again, and says to her, "Welcome to Heaven!" The hospice nurse enters the Pearly Gates.

He then asks the third nurse the same question. She says to him, "I was a nurse for a large insurance company. People would call in for authorizations for hospitalization and I would tell them what kind of care they could get."

Saint Peter goes to his computer, looks at the screen, makes a phone call, then goes to the computer again. He hands her a sheet of paper and tells her, "Welcome to Heaven! Your policy says that you have been approved for a 3 day stay!!!!"

(I work for a doctor's office and deal with insurance all the time, so this just tickles me to death! )
