Default Any Canadians (Ontario) Out There?

Hi all - I've not posted in quite a while. It's been a busy time and it seems there hasn't been a moment to sit and contemplate the universe!

I'm headed off to Ontario for a few weeks of canoeing and want to know if Novorapid and Levemir are still available without prescription there. My prescription insurance doesn't travel internationally and I'll pay out of pocket. I just want to be prepared!

Thanks for your responses!

Jen

I really don't think these are over the counter meds. I believe you need a prescription, but I have to pop out to the pharmacy tomorrow to pick up my Lantus refill, so I'll ask, k?

So today I purchased both Novorapid and Levemir cartridges over the counter. I guess if you want to submit for insurance coverage in Ontario you need a prescription. Otherwise you pay full price. Not a problem - full price Novo in Canada is less than my co-pay in the states......
