Default OMG--Life Alert

I'm so sick of the robot calls from Life Alert! At this point if I needed a life alert alarm, I certainly wouldn't use one of theirs. These ppl call me multiple times a day, and from phone numbers all of the country. I block one and another pops up.

I should have a choice who calls my cell phone. I'm considering changing my number, but I'm positive it won't work

We got those for a long time . . . maybe I just eventually wore them out, because you've reminded me that we haven't heard from them lately! Because I have more time than all you young working folk, I would block them, report them (our landline & cell are on all the DNC lists), and if ever a human being came on the line, I requested in very angry tones that they never call again.

Haven't gotten those (yet).

But 'Hello I'm yada-yada from windows technical support' called four times yesterday.

I do remember the time before DNC lists. Answering the twenty-fourth phone in just over an hour (as I tried to fix dinner) by screaming, "This had better not be another expletive deleted telemarketer!" and hearing a tiny, scared voice reply, "It is.", and screaming "Good bye!" as I hung up.

That's why I love my answering machine. Most robot callers just hang up when the answering machine picks up.
