Burning sensations in entire body at times

Burning sensations in the face, back, chest and nipples, mostly legs, feet, arms and hands. Does anyone else have this problem? I may need to look at other causes than diabetes. My fasting was 112, A1c is 5.7. My oral glucose tolerance test was 1hr-202, 2hr-170 and 3hr-80. The first hour was suppose to be 200 or less, the second hour was suppose to be 140 or less, the third hour was normal? I've had a burning sensation all over my body since July? It's mostly in arms and legs.

So Wendell, you've had all this burning for at least six months. What does your doctor say about it? Have you even seen a doctor? My advice is go ask your doctor.

And before you start any new threads, wait until your existing threads get busy.

An A1c of 5.7 by itself is good - this test shows an average so it can be made up of highs and lows and still average out "normal". The GTT shows that your BG does, indeed, spike high with a heavy carb load, and indicates diabetes.

If you are wanting a diagnosis of the burning etc., we can't give it. People can only tell you of their experiences with similar sensations, which they have done in your other thread.

And, as in your other thread, the response is going to be 1) see your doctor, and 2) treat it with a LCHF diet and see if the problem diminishes.

Hello. I agree with VeeJay and Shanny... see a doc and try LCHF, but mostly, see a doc.
