95 This morning. I have a confession to make, too many low carb biscuits will hurt our fbg. Good thing we ran out.

103 this morning.

We are on a packaged European tour - zipping through five countries plus a Danube river cruise.

Before we left DH made up cards that say 'I am allergic to (insert a long list of foods). I eat meat, seafood, vegetables grown above ground, butter, cream, cheese, fats, and oils.'

The cards are printed in each country's language. In restaurants I choose the appropriate language, hand the server a card, and watch the fun begin. So far my little cards are working

A 95 ( 5.3) this morning. Last day of work until next Friday night. Hope its a good day. Its my Friday, how can it be bad?

48F, supposed to be sunny skies with no chance of rain predicted until Tuesday. Predicted is the key word, and that sort of falls into the category of "the only thing constant is change."

147 this morning.

The infectious disease specialist called and put me on a different antibiotic for a new UTI. Now the trouble is bladder neuropathy. Good grief.

Well, the more interesting thing is that I find myself teaching the classes that I'll never teach again rather differently.

Yesterday, for example, in my Music History class, I played a video of Aida starring, um, me as Radames and explained to them how I'd arrived at being able to do it.

I was pleased and surprised to see that they found it inspiring. Sort of wish I'd done this sort of thing before.

103 but first the meter read "LO". Scared the be jibbies out of me. I wonder if this Bayer coutour next link meter is more accurate when you have low red blood cells. I don't get trained on this pump for another week, so I can ask then.

97 (5.4) this morning. We got to 80°F (26.7°C) yesterday and it looks like the same through the weekend. No rain in sight so just enjoying the sun. Saw my regular Cardiologist yesterday, last time was one of his associates, and he agreed regarding the possibility of a stent for my leg that no type of procedure for six months after the heart valve replacement. Exercise is working and may be all I need. We will evaluate in six months.

89 This morning. I exercised like crazy yesterday. I went for a half-hour walk at lunch, mowed my yard, and went on a 10 mile bike ride. I earned that 89!
