A 5.5 this morning. Still no summer temperatures - cloudy and just now at 9.30 a.m only +13 C (55 F).

CD, you seem to be close to the finish line now. Having all your dental work done. Yes, hope the temperature at least will reach +20 C (68 F) the next days.

I am quite close. I have one big day left after today and then a smaller day after that then I'm done. And now I'll never let my teeth get into that poor a state again. Thank goodness for my tax return though. It'll pay for the majority of the work I've had done.

High this morning.

I hesitate lately to say much as I seem always to have so many problems.

The Stiff Person Syndrome is awful and seems to constantly grow worse in unexpected ways and treatments have bad side effects.

Well, the good news is that the IVIG infusions work some and also greatly improve glucose (now that's a great side effect). Also good news is that it's been worked out so that I can have them every two weeks, I think starting this Friday.

Meanwhile, Lyrica helps as does increasingly large doses of Valium. I hate taking Valium as its so addictive and puts me to sleep much of the day. When I'm awake I can walk with my walker but dislike going out as I'm terrified of falling and look terrible. Yesterday I fell out of my chair but at least don't seem to have injured myself. I live in a small town and have sufficient notoriety that I'm recognized everywhere. Doubtless rumors are now circulating over my dramatic physical decline.

i used always to read your many wonderful posts. Just now my eyes aren't working well and I've not been able to see them. My deepest apologies!

Anyway, I think today will be better.

118. Doctor changed basal rates and BG is staying really nice 108 ish. As long as he is managing this pump , I doubt he will let me get any lower and I'm happy with that. Maybe when he trusts my management more he will let me manage it.

Was awful last night with the wind and tornado's weather and kids unrest (scared) but got through it with only one power failure.

A 108 today, accompanied by suddenly appearing rashes on my first two injection sites. Will be calling the doc today.

A 116 (6.4) this morning. Cortisol, I blame. Yesterday's bike ride, fasting of 93, breakfast of bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese, no lunch but had a bite of CO candy and 4 tsp of chia seed pudding, test before ride 120, test after 3 hour ride a 152. Nothing I ate should have done anything to my BG.

Tamagno, hopefully as the stress of all the new changes abate, so will the complications as things level out. I will be thinking of you and my prayers will go out for you for stability.

Tamagno, no need for apologies. Just now you seem to have quite a lot of problems with your health, but your last line indicated some hope and you also noted that your infusions had a good effect. That´s good and I really hope you will feel better!

87 (4.8) this morning. 94°F (34°C) yesterday and it looks like about the same for the next few days. There is a chance of thunderstorms next Monday and Tuesday which is not a good thing as humidity goes up and lightening strikes raise fire danger up here in the mountains.
@Tamagno, no need to apologize, I always look forward to your post. You surely have a lot to deal with, but know that people care and wish the best for you. Keeping you in my prayers.

90 (4.98) this warm partly cloudy morning, 96 (5.3) at bedtime last night. Don't know where those numbers came from! The diabetes fairy I guess...

@Tamagno I will keep you in my prayers!

We are heading for temps over 100°F this weekend. Glad my lawns are all cut now!
