106 this morning. I think I will start the Lantus tonight at bedtime. It is only 2 units, so if I go low it won't be all that low!

79 (4.37) this warm morning, 82 (4.5) at bedtime last night.

I am so not looking forward to the heat wave! 84F (28.88C) right now heading for high of 87F for today. Tomorrow's high predicted 99F (37.22C) and Sat through Monday are all predicted to be over 100F. This is the driest June we have had since 1910. Between this heat and the 4th of July fireworks I expect there will be many fires. We had a good amount of rain in the early Spring, now there are fields of tall grasses turning brown......

Hard lesson learned. My reading this morning was still high, at 128, but I ate well today and my number dropped steadily during the day.

Gramma, fire season is scary. Hope the heat wave breaks soon.

I ran off at 4:30am for a hike, so didn't post. FBS was 45, but breakfast and insulin got me on track in the 80's. My BS stayed reasonable with frequent testing and snacks as we hiked around Siskiyou Lake. Boy, was it beautiful.
Now I'm on my way to bed, enjoying my quick recovery from eye surgery. You guys were 100% right. Thanks for your guidance.

A 5.4 this morning. Sunny weather and today a bit warmer than the last days, but next week much higher temperatures expected almost all over the country peaking at +30 C (86 F).

Tamagno, just hope you will feel better soon and that the following infusions will benefit. Fingers crossed!
