A 116 (6.4) this morning. Ate about 3 times the amount of retrograded anasazi beans for supper last night than I should have. I was 135 at 1 hour pp and 144 at 2 hr pp. Gonna do the eat the carbs last tonight, because I hear that can make a difference. Still have half of both sides of the T-bone. It will be a n=1 study. I'll even repeat the overdose amount of beans. Even if it fools my meter at test time, I bet my fasting will show it.

97 (5.4) this morning. Had to go to town yesterday and it was 108F (42C), not pleasant. I usually park out a ways in parking lots to get some more steps in but not yesterday,
Saw my dermatologist and had 5 biopsies taken so I am sure at least a couple will lead to surgery. Seems to have become a routine.

I may have to put off my n=1. I didn't forget, just wasn't thinking about maybe not eating much after my angiogram today. After 3 hour drive, sitting in the waiting room.

I will have to give that a try (the cheese or pnt butter at night) because I can't seem to get my fasting blood sugar reading down consistently Today's reading was 129. I get good numbers during the day but darned if I can get it to lower in the morning.

It is sad but true to say that your fasting figures are always the last to come back into line. And there is very little you can do to push them there before they're ready to do so.

So the message is "stick with the way of eating and over time that final figure will drop back into place".
