Oh my gosh Pat!! I am so sorry for what you have been going through! Maybe Shanny is right, time for the kids to come to you for the Holidays. Hope you find the perfect dr and you heal quickly!

I don't know what Mayo could do that I haven't already had done here at the local hospital. Everything has come back fine. I am going to call my Neurologist on Monday and tell him of the latest fall. It was totally different from the other 3. They were at night as I was going to bed, this one first thing in the morning as I got up. This time I did feel the dizziness first and was headed back to the bed, but my knees just buckled and down I went. The chills, the sweats, the nausea were new. At one point in bed a passing thought crossed my mind that maybe I was going to die. Put that out of my mind ASAP!

58 this morning, and good readings all day. Clouds are gathering, so rain may be on its way. I visited my friend who has been moved from the hospital to a rehab center. She has a big window overlooking a grassy courtyard, a nice roommate, and better food.
I'm sorry to hear of all the health troubles people here are having. You have my best wishes for better days ahead. The longest night is behind us, so at least there is a little more sun each day!

104 / 5.8 - that's what happens when I snack before bed (wish my bg would get the word snacking reduces some people's fbg! I tell it, but will it listen?)

Hugs and supportive thoughts to Pat, Barbara, Tamagno! And to anyone else who needs immediate sympathy, I send a big hug to you too!

87 (4.8) this morning. It's cloudy and at 6:00AM an unusual 41°. Rain supposed to start tomorrow, the first of the " El Niño " storms, could see some snow but probably mostly rain.
@Pat, wow, an unfortunate thing to happen for sure, hope you are able to heal soon.

Hugs to Pat, Barb, Tamagno...
Wishing renewd health for all in the new year.
121 this morning. Had to taste the Vegetable Samosa and a little of the Naan bread at the restaurant last night. My meter scolded me soundly, as I knew it would.... but only a little worse than taking a shower. Hmmmph. But the Rogan Josh (Lamb) was to die for. I have some leftover for lunch. And yes I ate it without the rice my son and his girlfriend ate with their Lamb Kulcha and Chicken Karahi, both also very good. So I'm online looking for recipes.Mmmm.

74 (4.09) this cold morning, 77 (4.26) at bedtime last night.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts. Feeling better today and it looks like the carpet saved me from a black eye!!

I am beginning to get worried about Tamagno as he hasn't checked in in several days.
