110 (6.1) this morning. I don't know where that came from but I checked again and Yep, that's what it is. It's been quite a while since I was over 100, maybe something going on ? Well, something to keep an eye on I guess.
Still warm here, some areas in Southern California were over 90 degrees yesterday setting records for this time of year. Possibly cooling a bit in the next couple of days and a chance of rain next Wednesday/Thursday.

65 FBS. Another warm day ahead, and plenty to do. I have just shelled a bag of walnuts, and now I'm heading out the door with many tasks to choose from.
Enjoy your Thursday.

97 (5.37) this cloudy morning, 86 (4.76) at bedtime.

Stuffy nose, headache, slight fever...... Going to hit it with Vit C and Zinc and see if I can knock it down.

I've taken invokana for over a year now... No complications ... No complaints on my part. Ymmv of course.

112 today morning.

We are travelling next weekend to my in-laws to celebrate my daughter's first birthday. And i need to shop for some decent clothes. Unlike most of the girls i know, i absolutely detest shopping. And i would never take my husband along. He just slows me down making me try so many things before we buy anything.

I so agree! Hate shopping and don't even like taking the mister for groceries . . . it takes too long and he is the ultimate impulse buyer. I leave him in the car with the puppydog!

85 / 4.7

Eating is very ketogenic just now (not much time to eat). On the positive side, my BG loves it: pre- and post-prandial yesterday lapped gently between 69 and 92 mg/dl. On the negative side my weight is dropping, BMI now 'underweight'.....never thought I would see that.

Many thanks and hugs to everyone! I am coping. Wish I could move my father beyond this to a point of rest/peace. But I can't. So I will continue to remember I am blessed to have had very good parents who enjoyed their lives for a very long time.

Now I hate shopping - and the boss absolutely refuses to have me in the same building as her when she's doing the job.

So, it's Lyn and I in the car - or out walking when she's busy. I've nearly figured out her timing - but she still surprises me at times - and not just with the bill!

Oh, 85 for me this morning. And today we received Lyn's "birth certificate" from the French "Kennel Club". Yes, she was born - not (as I suspected) designed by a mad scientist aiming to produce the fiend she's rapidly developing into.

Nancy- i can understand how it is to see a parent in this state. But you are lucky- i see in your post details that you are 63. I am a little more than half your age and it has already been 13 years since i lost my father. I could give up so much of what i have to just see him playing with my kids.

It is not easy to go through what you are. But the fond memories you have are so much more than what many have to make do with. Just hold that thought and i pray you all will get through this tough time.
