91 (5.1) this morning. Warmer today with our low about 8° higher and already 44° at 7:30AM so I expect it to be in the 70's by this afternoon. Still a chance of rain late Wednesday into Thursday but we will have to see how that turns out.
Happy Presidents day to all in the USA, enjoy the Holiday. When you're retired every day is a holiday.

118 this morning. Down a little, up a little. Oh, well.
Glad you are feeling better counsiler. Tough luck getting food poisoning. Guess you won't be eating there again any time soon. Ugh.

It was a gorgeous day in the mountains, but it's nice to be home. All the critters are tucked in, BS is 85, and I've a few minutes to sit and read before climbing the stairs to bed.
Good night, all.

104 today morning. Lowest in a long time. Walking from office to daycare every evening is working on my sugar levels but not on the extra weight yet to be lost.

I wanted to get back at my pre pregnancy weight by the time my daughter turns 1

93 / 5.2

The rains came. And went. It is a clear and chilly morning.....just as it should be this time of year. Nice.

A 77 (4.3) this morning.

After tonight, a warming trend thru the weekend, then turning cooler next week. 60% chance of rain Sunday/Monday, with 20% chance on both sides of that.
Think I've had this since 2003. Told I was Type 2 lean on 2/13/12.

227 this morning.

Kris, you're so kind and the same to you. To count another as friend is surely among the finest of sentiments!

Oh, Kathryn, Goethe! I wonder if you'd enjoy the songs of Franz Shubert many of whose Lieder use Goethe text. PM me if, as a musician, I can help as the whole field of study is voluminous and slightly esoteric in the modern world outside Germany.

We had rain over night that has turned to sleet this morning. I can drive on most anything but ice and so won't be going anywhere until it clears.

The last IV antibiotic is down at the hospital at 12:30, so I've really got to get there if at all possible...

7.4 ... yep I can relate. Still better than being on the insulin... for me at least. And I suppose my hormones are completely out of whack. Something definitely amiss in that department. I'm on day 17 of a period I shouldn't be getting (IUD). Not to worry though, they've scheduled me for a pelvic ultra sound on May 26th to make sure everything is ok. MAY! Going to call around today to see the cost of going private for the U/S. Staying the course on lchf... I like having something within my control.

Happy Tuesday that feels like a Monday!
Every day is day one in this new adventure. Hoping for a good one today.

grammaB - I received my order of Adapt bars and coffee shots. Thanks again for suggesting. I'm especially enjoying the hazelnut coffee shot.

CCD - I can relate on the weight thing, and yet from my perspective, I'd kill for 104 FBG .

SFM - big hugs! Must say though, no period is the one upside to menopause - I need to remember that when the hot flashes come on...!

Thanks Tamagno! Hope you're car magically grows studded tires - and that you make it to the hospital..
