76 this morning, I'm off the antibiotics and it looks like my BS is back where it previously was and my doctor is saying I don't have a UTI...SOMETHING ELSE IS GOING ON but they don't know what. Very frustrating but at least the weather remains beautiful and the fishing promises to improve...I can live with that.

An 82 (4.6) this morning.

Had a scare last night. Finished off the batch of Anasazi beans, almost 2 portions. Tested at 1 hour, a 163, immediate retest was 118, followed shortly after with a 105. Went to bed at 98.

Wondering how you can eat 2 portions of beans and get the low FBG numbers you do?

Are you taking insulin or other drugs that help since your heart surgery?

Love the typo. Immediately thought of the toads in my garden. I'm always happy to see them.
Think I will refer to them as my beautiful toadies.

A shocking 140 this morning. Had an omelet for breakfast (2 eggs, s&p, a bit of HWC, 2 slices of provolone cheese for a change-the package says 0 gms carbs per slice so still less than 1 gm.) Tested 144 at 1 hr and 150 at 2. HUH?
Gonna call the doc. My throat is sore again and Godson tested positive for strep. Still fighting the sinus infection, too. But I don't have a fever. Still there is clearly something going on. Last night I made quesadillas for everyone else except one of the kids who doesn't much care for 'em. He had leftovers from the night before. I just put the meat, cheese, guac and sour cream on my salad and drizzled a little avocado oil on. BG=106 before and 115 at 1 hr, forgot to check at 2 hrs.

I try to read before I hit post...hahaha Thanks for catching my toady

You may have the start of something brewing, somehow the BG knows. I hope you get over it quick, you work hard for the lower numbers.

I'd have been much more impressed if it actually was a toady

I retrograde the starch in the beans. If I do it right, its works OK for me.

Only drug involved is Metformin unless my BP meds have an effect. I replied in your other thread about my FBG.
