98 this am, higher than I'd like. Yesterday I worked in the garden longer than I should have without testing. and I was transplanting some greens (lettuce and Pak Choy, mmm) when I realized I was having a serious insulin reaction. I stumbled to my feet, knowing I had to eat, and grabbed a carrot, soil and all. Crunch, crunch, of course I needed more. I headed through the rows toward the house. A chicken had gotten in, so I fell on her and managed to keep ahold until I got near enough to the fence to toss her over. By now I could barely walk, but I made it to the house and milk and crackers. Scary. What if I had passed out?
The moral is, I have to carry glucose tabs in my pocket when I'm out there, or anywhere, I guess. I have to assume this may happen.
Whew. Happy Friday, and stay well.

99 (5.5) this morning. We got a sprinkle last night at least, .08" on my rain gauge, but best chance for more rain is today and it looks threatening so hopefully we will get more today.
Wow Kathryn, scary indeed. Yeah, carrying glucose tabs is surely a good idea for the future.

Kathryn that was really a scary story. Yeah some glucose tabs seems like a good plan.

86 this AM after a couple steroid days. Love seeing it come back down - thank you insulin Next week I'll increase insulin a bit more because my steroid days are still too high (up to 150 during day, but sure beats >200!)

@HardBackStrider - good to see you! Welcome back!
