112, my spanking for my high carb meal on Sunday. I expect it to last a few more days. I did test a couple of times yesterday at 101 and 105. I imagine I was lower after doing a late afternoon strenuous hike/climb.

Proof to me how little food we actually need to eat and how long the residual sugar lingers in our bloodstream.

Here's hoping it turns out to be a non-event ... good luck!

Feed the weeds to the chicks if they're not too big The weeds, that is.

A 66 (3.7) this morning.

Had a table side guacamole for lunch, a couple of ounces of walnuts and almonds in the afternoon and a piece of cheese last night.

Slight chance of rain every day the rest of this week. Monday thru Wednesday next week much higher chances.

84 (4.67)

Take 2 on the diagnostic radiology. Continuing the massive administrative screw-ups by this entity: didn't mail the follow-up letter from the screening exam, blamed me for misplacing it, didn't bother to check while I was on the phone to see if there might be a reason I hadn't gotten the routine letter, called me back 5 minutes later at the wrong number to tell me I needed further diagnostic tests (and disclosed that I was one of many who had not gotten the letter), recorded or told me the wrong day for the appointment, and didn't bother to tell me that the test they initiated required an order I was responsible for getting from my doctor.

Let's hope today goes more smoothly!
