96 (5.3) this morning. Windy as all get out yesterday as promised and quite cool. Not a nice day to be outside. Overnight low 25° but it's calm now and hopefully it will be warming up.
@MaJoi, I'm also one who found out that CC is something I just can not handle. All milk products have Lactose which is a form of sugar, the ending -ose means sugar and as testing tells us all carbs are not the same. That is why eating to your meter is so important, to find out how you handle different things.

@vicky, wow, I hope you are better soon.

118 this morning. 127 after bf of leftover saurkraut with a couple of bites of pork. Now 110.

Found my tray of Jimmy Nardello peppers and Listada de Gandia eggplants on its side on the floor behind the plant stand I have set up with lights and heat mats in my bathroom. Curious cats????? They were ready to start hardening off to get ready to plant outside as soon as I'm sure of the weather (can one ever be?) Expecting storms tonight. Now I am going to try to rescue any that aren't too broken up, if there are any. What a mess. Then I'll have to start some more. Late, late, late.

Vicky, sorry you've been so sick, but glad you are on the upswing now. Vegetable soup!
And darn those cats! They have something against successful gardening, I think. No sooner do I work up a lovely bed and plant it, than they march in and claim it for a bathroom. Argh! I don't let them in the green house, but they dump pots whenever they can. Sorry; I hope you can salvage...

74 (4.09) this overcast morning, 79 (4.38) at bedtime last night.

@vicky, glad you are feeling better!

@MaJoie, Wally beat me to it, it is most likely the lactose in the cc that spiked you. It is a good thing you tested it!! I have only recently been able to add cc back into my food list. I stayed far away from it in the beginning while I got tight control of my d. I can get by with 1/2 cup and testing has me starting in high 60's and peaking in the mid 80's. I can't eat it every day, but a couple times a week seems to work fine.

A 94 (5.2) this morning. I know better than to sit down with the can of mixed nuts. Just a handful will do if I get that and put the can back in the pantry. If I sit down with the can, I'm subject to 'just one more' until it's empty.

37 this cold morning, and fine now. Henny-Penny is slowly recovering, making little mama purring sounds when I pick her up for her twice daily medicine. I'm so glad she lived through this dreadful thing. She still isn't eating much, but I hope her appetite picks up.
Happy Wednesday, all.
