79 (4.39) A full day of medical tests, and planning how to handle my absence from work for a few weeks.

55 this morning, and a full day ahead. After the garden it'll be time to move the chicks and the recovering hen into their newly rebuilt quarters. Setting up new roosts, nests and feeders will take a little jostling, but the birds will undoubtedly be happy. I'll have to keep importing greens and other garden scraps (worms!) until they can join the other hens who enjoy the freedom of the outdoors.
How I wish I could eat the glorious bowls of strawberries I pick! I nibble snap peas instead.
Happy Tuesday.

96 (5.3) this morning. Heavy clouds yesterday and even some sprinkles but cleared out in the afternoon and turned out to be quite a nice day then. Sunny and warm for today but a very good chance of rain Thursday and Friday. Surprised to see a chance of rain still in May. Bring it on !

99, hoped it to be better. I hiked most of the day yesterday and tested afterward at 82. My total carb load was under 20g.

101 (5.6) this morning. Fell asleep last night without my insulin. I don't usually forget but yesterday was a very hectic Monday.

82 (4.56) Long day of meetings today! At least these are with students, not doctors - so they should be less stressful.

91! Great for me. My eating is generally the same, no new foods, no moderately high or high carbs. I know what foods I tolerate and what I don't. I will on occasion do a test for curiosity, not because I crave carbs or anything sweet because I don't.

Wishing everyone the best with whatever they are dealing with. Life is filled with it's ups and downs. Often it is how you handle it that makes the difference.

90 5.0) this morning. It should be a nice day today, already 50° at 6:00AM and sunny. Tomorrow through Sunday have a 40-60% chance of rain so hoping to see something out of this.
