45 this morning. Yesterday I went on a walk by Stony Creek, a beautiful and wild stretch. It felt like I was in a remote and unexplored place, with marvelous plants I hadn't seen before. One was a big tree/bush that had elongated conical flower heads, that from a distance looked something like pine cones. Each was composed of multiple small flowers. They were heavily scented like honey suckle....
My son, who has now had this for over three months, tells me that if he ever has a child, and his child gets type 1 too, he will tell him that crazy, unexpected blood sugars "are not your fault!" It happens to all of us, and if you're doing the best you can with diet and exercise, he's right.
Happy Saturday!

96 (5.3) this morning. Well, we did get rain yesterday after all. It rained pretty good for about 45 min. and we even got some hail About 1/4" total which isn't a huge amount but not bad. We have a 50% chance today and tonight so who knows ?

111, another shock like yesterday! I'll just have to wait it out as it's not diet induced, not stressed or sick either.

Don't beat yourself up. Earlier in the week, mine were way over 200.

Give yourself time. And remember, fasting levels are the LAST to improve when you get your post-meal levels down.
