38 this am. It's is supposed to get hot today, so I'm enjoying the cool of this very early hour. Our lettuce is marvelous, but this may be the week it starts to bolt.
Happy Tuesday.

A bit higher at 5.7 this morning but that's close to my average level so it's all ok.

101 (5.6) this morning. Actually a little surprised at that, 85 two hours after dinner last night. Warmed up yesterday, 75° (23.9°C) for a high. Should be a bit warmer today and "mostly sunny" whatever that means.
Tornados wreaking havoc across the Midwest, ugh, I live in earthquake country and I will take earthquakes over tornados any day.
Off in a bit to see a doctor about trigger finger in the middle finger of my left hand. The last time it locked up I didn't think I would ever get it unlocked and it hurts like the devil. I had trigger finger in my thumb about 6 years ago and a cortisone shot fixed it and it has never returned so I hope this will be fixed also.

@glwilso8, I have never had a problem with antibiotics bothering my bg but if you are taking it for an infection that will usually cause a raise in bg.

Exactly where mine is! Have had it for several years, never got the courage for the cortisone injection (severe needle pathology). Fortunately, in time, it has gone from locking and unable to use that hand much, to just an ache. Good luck with yours! And how great that you can take the injection like a champ

Back from the doctor and got the cortisone injection so now to see how well it works. The doctor had me make a fist and it locked up right there and he was pulling on it to try and unlock it while I was grimacing like a (something that grimaces a lot) so he got a first hand look. Options were the cortisone injection or surgery so I took the injection. Hopefully it will solve the problem.
@moon, the injection is really nothing. The doctor uses a topical and then injects Lidocaine to numb the area and you don't even feel the injection. The worst is just a small prick when injecting the Lidocaine and that isn't even as bad as a prick for testing for bg. For the last two years or so it was more of a mild annoyance but lately it got so bad I had to do something. If yours isn't that bad I can see not doing anything but if it becomes worse I wouldn't put it off.
