Well, I went to the nursery to splurge on ONE pond lily. Unfortunately there was a gorgeous lotus waiting for a home, and...I had to have it for our pond. I also picked up a hardy water lily, and a shore plant, and now I get to plant them all. (I guess the lily and the lotus are happy in their pots, once I set them in.) Nurseries are very hard for me to resist. We have one here that only carries native plants, and I can't walk out of there without some wonderful thing.
Hope you had a great day.

Today's level sits at 5.9. Off to teach three 3- hour classes in a row today with a one hour break for lunch. Sunny but a bit cooler at 10C presently (9am)

A 73 (4.1) this morning. Rain in the forecast for the next 10 days, with this Saturday being the only exception for now.

Yesterday it got up to 87F, it felt like 120F after I first got hot. This may be a bad sign, last summer after heart surgery, the hottest parts of the day was spent in the AC.

98 (5.44) Preparing for an OGTT by upping my carbs for 3-4 days, so I don't fail merely because my body has not seen any significant quantity of carbs in 7 months . . . bu I will be mighty surprised if I have induced remission given this morning's number (on top of yesterday's numbers - which ran in the 130-160 range for several hours yesterday - the first time since diagnosis).

111 this am, who knows why?
It's a beautiful sunny day here, and it will be hot/warm (depending on how hard you're working!)
Have a good day.

96 (5.3) this morning. We reached a high temp. yesterday of 79° (26°C) and will probably be a bit higher today. I like it, I don't feel the heat until it goes over 100° but it is very dry here and that helps.
Cortisone seems to have done the job, I can make a tight fist and my finger does not lock up. Thankfully bg does not seem to be affected.
I am really glad that I don't seem to have any allergies. We have several pine trees here including an 80 Ft. Digger Pine that are pumping out pollen now and it is a yellow cloud at times. It will actually stain the concrete yellow for a while.

Snap Mark, 91 (5.05) for me this morning. Yesterday was the same as Tuesday and should be the same today and tomorrow. Cooling down and windy over the weekend. No rain in sight.
