96(5.3) this morning. There is a 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms today and then sunny the rest of the week. Temp. is going to drop quite a bit this weekend though.
@Edge, 5.5 is not a bad fasting number and we all would like to see lower numbers sometimes but change is slow it takes patience. I am often below 5.0 but at other times I am over, like today. It can be hard to figure out sometimes, last night I was at 86 (4.8) two hours after dinner. The liver has a lot to say about fasting bg and no many times I have had a sit down and serious talk with mine it still does what it wants.
Keep at it, what matters is how your bg runs throughout the day.

69 this morning...I like that!
The sourdough bread I started last night is all bubbly on the counter. It always does so well as the days and nights warm up. I, however, am not so fond of sweating my way through the days work!
As soon as dawn breaks I will go our and start the garden work. Yesterday I potted six volunteer tomatoes to give away, and I will try to do the rest today. I only have eggplants left to set out, and a few Burbank tomatoes.
The poor lotus is hanging on to its last two leaves. Maybe its luck will turn.
Happy Wednesday.

Didn't feel like opening a new bottle of strips for my spare meter, I just opened a new bottle of strips yesterday morning for my regular meter - that I left at work last night. Tested a 94 (5.2) this morning with strips that are at least a year old.

107, a low carb dinner of a pork chop broccoli, cauliflower and a salad with BG dressing. Later a late night snack of a few almonds, cheese and wine.

I'd like to petition for a lower number, as I don't feel this is justifiable. I'd take a 94 or 95 to start the day as I know it will get lower, but a 107?

122 this morning.

It's another beautiful day. Planning on some errands for Mom and maybe a bit of flower bed prep.
