89, happy to report it too after a 101 yesterday. It's been incredibly hot here, dry too. This last week, daily highs have been in the 102-105 range. This coming week highs are expected to be around 100. Too hot for me, looking forward to the Fall. I'm an outdoor type and it's too hot to do much outside, I use AC but don't like the dryness.

89 (4.93) this morning. Still hot here also, 102° yesterday. Supposed to cool down but only a degree or so over the next few days. Still a chance of thunderstorms but not likely. We had thunderheads building up yesterday but just provided some welcome shade.

141/127. Two readings? Yes, I couldn't believe it was 141 as I gave myself a bolus shot last night just before bed because I was at 149. So, I took another test after about a minute. This is just a reminder that your readings can be off up to 15%. If you think it's weird, retest. Either way, 127 was still higher than I was hoping for. Sigh.

It's damp outside today.

68 this morning. But nothing like an unexpected hour and half phone conversation with a client to raise the BG 30 points...
@Bounty - small world! Yes, the Basque was a hard place to step foot in yesterday!

Bunjee, I remember when I found out my OneTouch was 40 points off, what the..?

108, a surprise but not a shock. My wife made potato salad again, and I mix hot mustard in it and love it. It really hits the spot when it's hot outside. I didn't think it effected me much so I ate it with lunch, dinner, then too much as a late night snack.

126. Sniff.

bignick, you are watching what you eat all the time; I think just for mental health you have to give it a break some days, if you can. But, I agree, lunch, dinner AND snack of potatoes is probably too much. Glad you enjoyed it though. My Mom altered her potato salad just a bit, substituting sour cream and Splenda for the Miracle Whip. Tastes great and a single serving doesn't spike me so much.
