84 (4.65) this morning. I tried to post my FBG earlier today and it kept freezing up on me.
All OK now though. Actually a bit cooler today which was a surprise, today is supposed to be the hottest day and cooling down a bit starting tomorrow. Guess we will see how that works.

157 this morning, my new favorite number.

I had landscapers come out yesterday to bury our gutter drains, and regrade after replacing our septic tank. For the first time since moving to this house, we aren't constantly reminded of the poop fiasco!

107 - I sure am bouncing around all over the place. Too many carbs after my good times with the super lows.

Mind boggling to hear about the fire down in San Bernadino and how fast it's moving. I'm not sure I understand the people who are told to evacuate but don't? I would not have to be told twice!

While I'm not familiar with said fiasco, I'm guessing this is a really, really good thing!

79 (4.38) this morning. Another wildfire started to the North of here, not too close but we are getting smoke.
Yeah Kris, people just don't realize when a fire like the one in San Bernardino is moving so fast there is no time to waste. Same thing happened with the Erskin fire near here. Extreme dry conditions from 5 years of drought and high winds cause such a fierce inferno nothing can stop it.

82 (4.54) this mostly clear morning, 75 (4.16) at bedtime last night.

The plumber took all of 15-20 minutes to fix the pipe. It had a hairline split just below the turnoff valve. And they came at about 3:30 PM so my evening wasn't messed up.

Today I am waiting for the carpet water restoration people to come and look at the carpet to see if I need their services or if I can just let it dry naturally. I stomped on towels a lot last evening trying to get as much water out as I could...

107 this a.m. Yay!! Forgot to test overnight though. Oops.

FINALLY, after months, got Mom into the dentist this morning. A couple of weeks ago, I just scheduled both of us so she wouldn't have any excuse (I just needed a cleaning). So, yes, she has to go back, but she made her own appointment, so we are over that hurdle. It's not fear of the dentist-it's spending money on intangibles or something. Anyway, a done deal. Hot and muggy out there so I'm hiding out in the a/c.

98, a bit of a surprise. Good behavior does not always yield good results. Feels cooler today, maybe 90-91 for a high?

93 (5.15) this morning. Yeah Nick, sometimes I think it's just a liver thing. For me yesterday carbs=10, protein=33 so I can't blame eating.
Weather here remains the same, the promised cooler temps keep getting pushed further into the future. We are getting smoke from the wildfire North of here but so far not too bad.
