113, WOW! OK, I'm calming down, I should realize nothing should surprise me now. I checked a half hour later after having some BPC with another meter and got 117. Gotta love the ups and downs of this business, lol.

Another unseasonably warm day. I was riding a motorcycle yesterday without a jacket and not cold. Usually I'd be shoveling that white stuff.

Lying in bed last night, the great moon casting shadows in my room, I counted my blessings. This morning FBG 38, then up to 68 two hours after breakfast and a good bike ride in the dark. The moon was no longer showing, and now we are waiting for the promised deluge. Fingers crossed.
Tomango, I'm thinking of you. I hope all goes well, and the nurse is nice!

I use the pee strips occasionally, if you understand their application and how they relate to what you are trying to determine, they work well. You don't need dark colors to be fully in ketosis, darker is not better.

89 today morning. I cook for everyone at home and they love my food but since the past 3 months I just cant seem to eat my own cooked food. My mom is coming down on 22nd and I hope I don't deliver before that because I want to pamper myself eating mom-cooked food and take her out to a few places for coffee etc.

She is a pure vegetarian and does not eat even onion and garlic. So eating out gets restricted. She is the best mom in the world- the trouble being, its high to keep up with the standards she has set.

71mg/dl. I had a close run in with a migraine yesterday that wanted not to let go. Keeping close watch today.

224 this morning.

How exciting that this thread has again been closed and reopened!

Nausea and vomiting all night from yesterday's IV. Hopefully will settle down today.

I've the very odd sensation that something profound is shifting physically at a deep level. Perhaps I'm at last to be cured of all this mess!

A fresh nurse is coming today. Perhaps I wore out the lovely young woman yesterday. I did try to be good, of course...

91 (5.1) this morning, 105 (5.8) yesterday. Didn't get to post yesterday because my computer decided to have a melt down. Went through a series of " check disk and automatic repair " that just kept repeating and wouldn't recover. I finally gave up and reformatted the hard drive and now have to reinstall windows and all of my programs. It's a pain and a lot of work but running a back up didn't help so a fresh start is what I decided to do.
Looks like rain is on the way however much more further north. Bay Area should get quite a bit. All good, on the way to town Wednesday I noticed all of the hills have turned green. A real improvement of the ugly brown. We may even have a chance for a decent show of wild flowers this spring.

Tamagno, keeping my fingers crossed that it really helps.

I'm back yet again! No reading from this morning but sitting at a 4.8 right now (3pm). I had my job interview this morning (postponed from yesterday afternoon).I felt it went fine but there were 25 applicants so quite a lot of competition, many of them likely to have much more administrative experience than myself). I do have the benefit of having worked for the department for 8 years so that'll help but my pessimistic brain tells me it isn't likely to be enough.

The decision must come down fairly soon as they want the person in place by the beginning of March. Gah! I hate waiting!

Oh well, it's soon the weekend and the weather is set to go above 0℃ for the foreseeable future.

110, I'm not going to try to guess why. 62 degrees at 11:00 PM last night, a warm May evening in February! Mixed feelings, I haven't put my crampons on or used my ice ax once this winter. Maybe no ice to climb. I usually do spring snow climbs too, we'll see how this plays out.

118 (6.6) this morning. Hard sometimes to read everyone's trials and tribulations health-wise without feeling a bit guilty not chipping in with some words of encouragement or other sort of comment. But I definitely do follow along with all of your day-to-day updates and find myself thinking about them nearly every day. Anyway. Just thought I'd say that even though I don't respond directly to many posts on this thread.

A 90 (5.0) yesterday, and a 102 (didn't look) today. Today's reading was a good 4 to 5 hours later than yesterday's. May be a lame excuse, but I'm not too proud to take it.

75 (4.15) this partly cloudy windy morning, 88 (4.87) at bedtime.

55°F and windy, wind advisory for up to 55mph winds this afternoon. Surrounded by trees as I am, I really hate the wind!

@Tamagno, sending you healing thoughts. I hope your feeling is true and things are beginning to change and I hope its for the better!!

@CD fingers crossed here for you re the job!!
