Whoopee!

I had some normal bloodwork done yesterday for my hematologist and my fasting was 87! If I understand it, but means my A1C was under 5. Is that right? I'm so pleased by that turn of events...if it's real....

Any thoughts?

I found this link (if I posted it correctly) and you're right. Great job you've done. Keep up the good work :)

Fasting is that measurement at that time... Where as an A1C is an average of about 90 days... So if your BG is always around that than yes... BUT if you eat a ton of carbs and jack it up everyday and then do not eat at night... Well your fasting could still be low but your A1c will be high. But Congrats on the positive test

Even if it wasn't an A1c, many of us would kill for a fasting of 87.
