Default Update on my life..

Ok well the last time I posted about me-- I was pretty much in the dumps. I had just found out that my husband of 15 yrs was cheating on me and had left him.. Well I have since learned that sometimes things happen for a reason and it just takes us awhile to figure out that reason... Well I found it! When I left my X I had thrown this wall up that I could care less if I had a man in my life EVER again.. and if someone could get over/around the wall then I might consider something with that person... Well I have found someone who KNOCKED that wall down and showed me that I deserve to be loved, appreciated, and treated properly.. Not only is he wonderful to me.. he is EXCELLENT with my boys and my boys adore him... When I left I took ONLY what could fit in the back of my van (which umm was NOT much) I had NO couch, a very small 13in TV (that barely worked), and clothes for my kids and a small amount of clothes for me... Jay has gotten me a couch (with a pull out sleeper), a New 27in TV, helped me pay my bills, and even bought my prescriptions(which we all know are NOT cheap when you don't have insurance). And just so you know has NOTHING to do with money or what he has bought but more the knowing that he does care and has mine and my kids best intentions at heart. He is EVERYTHING that my X was NOT.. compassionate, hard-working, loyal, romantic, appreciative.. and MOST of all HELPS me with everything from housework(yes dishes, laundry everything) to the kids.. And when it comes to my health he is sooo PRO-active it is NOT funny.. makes me check my sugar all the time.. he even took a class so that he knew how to properly give me my insulin and take care of me.. So I am doing good and now you know why I was AWOL for a bit... Hope everyone is doing well and healthy and happy!

We went to a friends house for a BBQ this last weekend and I will load a few pics and I bet you can tell a difference in my appearance.. I am smiling and it is NOT forced!! lol

WOW Meg...I was under the impression that you and the Boys were still in the house and your X had to move out. Sorry 'bout that.

Talk about....what a difference a day makes(or a few weeks). That's Excellent news. It's Great to see you smiling. I can't wait to see your Real smile. Your New Man sounds like a Winner. Um...can I borrow him for a couple days. j/k Enjoy your new found Happiness Meg. You deserve it. (I missed you).

Awww New Love! Hey, are you Guys going out for Hallowe'en?? You should you know(not much candy for you though). You's can run about and gather treats just like the Younguns. Sounds like Fun. Your Kids can stay at home and watch tv. Just kidding about the Kids...take them with you and ruin their evening by watching them like hawks. Stay Happy!

Hey, Good photos Meg. Thanks. You's make a handsome couple. Yup, that's a Real smile. So Mitch is Jay's brother? How old is Jay's Son(if I understood you correctly)? Hallowe'en parties are Great. Sounds like that's going to be an interesting and Fun Hallowe'en for you's. Make sure to post back on how it all turns out and what you's wore. I hope that you have Good weather also.

Boss eh? Well, isn't that handy for a BBQ? He looks really young. Oh okay about Jay's non-Son. Two Girls are Better anyways. Way too much testosterone in those photos. Ack! I can't imagine you having 6 Kids. Good to hear that your weather will be Nice there for the occasion. I hope it's the same here.

BTW, since World Diabetes Day is so close to Hallowe'en you could put up a blue porch light for Hallowe'en AND Diabetes Day. You have to admit, blue is normally a pretty colour but on a Hallowe'en night it would make the house area creepier and then you'd have it for November 14th. I have mine already. I might take a picture that evening.

Ya, Good site you found there although you haven't put music on it yet...or at least I'm not hearing any. Well, there's lots of time for that too.

Have a Great Day Meg!!

Yes 6 kids could you imagine? And I wouldn't mind having 1 or 2 more.. crazy I know ... BUT I always wanted a large family and found someone who supports me on every aspect of everything... so I know he would be involved and not sitting on the couch just whining. Yeah his boss is his best friend-- kinda cool on some levels on other levels not so cool but it works for them ....

Blue light I will have Mitch put up a few of them :P His family and friends love me already and told him that he better not screw things up with me cause I am a good woman and that he is lucky to have found me.. I tend to agree lol

I didn't put music to that one cause I was just learning how to use it-- the next set of pics for sure will have music..any requests?

Good Morning:

Having more Kids isn't crazy especially since you had your first 4 before you were dxd. with Diabetes. You love Kids. That's Good to see. Just have to watch the Diabetes more closely and keep it in check.

Hmmm....when I was about 14, I quite naively thought I'd have an even dozen since my Grandmother had 14 Kids and things worked out okay. No one told me back then that having Diabetes would become a slight obstacle in that future project.

Hey thanks Meg, about getting Mitch to put up some blue lights. I appreciate it. Some of our friends and Family are putting them up also. I showed them the IDF World Diabetes site and they agreed that it was a Good way to let People know about Diabetes and to have a Special Day for such a deadly and rampant disease. It's too simple.

Ha! Usually the music should match the photos. Plus it's your album....BUT 2 of my old favourites are: Life Is A Highway by Tom Cochrane and Lady by Kenny Rogers.
