Default Test Strips

Oh fudge! I have only 4 test strips left. I ordered some from Amazon and they sent them to my "default" address instead of the one I so carefully typed in. So my meter and I are in PA and my test strips are in VA.

Call them.

Maybe you can embarrass them into sending you some to the address where you are now.

Or, run by Wal-Mart and pick up their Relion meter and strips?

Amazon does have great customer service, but walmart is going to be much faster.

Argh! I hate it when stuff like that happens. You can cope for a bit by eating known low carb meals maybe?

There's a cheap little gizmo called the Sidekick meter and I seem to remember that MCS got it at Walmart . . . All-in-One Blood Glucose Testing System - Walmart.com

And when you use up the strips, just pitch the whole thing & get a new one - only $20.

I wanted to get the strips for my bionime meter which is what I ordered from Amazon. This afternoon I walked up to the main building for a package which turned out to be something for Mom. But it was the first time I've been out of the house except for her doctor appointments since she got home from the hospital. I hope I can run out to walmart for the relion strips tomorrow since it is obvious I am not going to have the bionime strips until at least the middle of next week.
