I find myself getting annoyed easily when my blood sugar droppes. This has taken a toll on me and my relationships because I tend to lock all my frustrations inside until I explode. I carry food around with me but its kindof annoying to eat when ur not hungry. I just wanna know if anyone else has this problem.
thanks

When I see an angry drunk it makes me want to ask them if they've been tested for hypoglycemia and/or diabetes. But experience has taught me never to ask an angry drunk anything.

Yes, people getting angry during lows is pretty common. It's also one of the things considered in qualifying for disability as it can cause problems with employment.

Hi Ben....I used to get really anxious and then angry when low coz I was in a panic...now I carry glucose pills (like shanny said) all the time...by my bed and in the car and in my bag...it took a while but now I dont run around like a headless chook (chicken in aussie language) looking for food like NOW!...

You're right a support group is what you need...I've found that in this forum...I don't know any other diabetics in my non-puter life...so hang around here and share some info and yarns...friendly bunch...some are a tad crazy *points and whispers*...but I can't think of anywhere I've recieved better information from people who live the life :)

I decided when I got my diabetes that I would eat those thing I no longer can eat when I`m low.
This makes it a lot easier for me to deal with the fact that I`m low and have to eat.
I have my favourite chocolate, chips, fruit-juice and some choclate biscuits with a ton of carbo, so when I`m low and not hungry at all, I can find my own treasure-box and enjoy:)
For me this is a good way to not be pissed when I suddenly is hypo...
