Default Phase ii lchf (for me)

Ok all, I have been following LCHF since 5/1/15 and my first blood results in July were miraculous at 6.0...as was everything else in my blood work, weight loss, and blood pressure.

Earlier this year, based on comments from others on this website, my wife and I decided to have complete physicals, starting with a heart scan, ultra-sound of neck arteries, and descending Aorta.. After finding out all was ok (I had to have a heart stress test also, but all was good)....so our Phase II started today!

I went in for my second Blood Tests and UA....preying for 5% club but will not know for sure until I see the doctor in early November...I am down around 38lbs. as of this morning!

Phase II we started back to our exercise programs at the local YMCA. I ride lateral bike, hoping to get back to 45 min. and them some light weight machines to strengthen and lengthen muscle groups. Every other day, we will swim laps for 30-45 minutes.....

Wish us luck and patients....life is a bowl of cherries! (I know, I know cannot have cherries)

Thanks for the inspiration all of you have provided.....

Good luck, you have done well. And be sure to thank your wife, we couldn't do it without them.

Good job, you have been doing well. Congratulations on starting an exercise program, it will be beneficial. As a suggestion, you may want to try and get a copy of your test results before your Doctors appointment. I always do as it helps to find out the results ahead of time and it gives you a chance to prepare for any questions you may have before your appointment. Doctors time is so short that I find it better to be prepared.

mbuster .. Thanks...yes you are correct, our wives are our main source of inspiration! I will tell her again as I cannot say it to often.

walkerwally1...Good comment, I have tried 3 different labs because they never get my results to my doctor. This one, never seems to have the results and sends me down to the medical section in the hospital and that can be an all day deal. But, I am going to try again! AS my doctor will probably be really weird with my low A1c....I hope!

Well as walkerwally suggested I went and picked up my blood test results so I could prepare for my doctor appt. upcoming in November.

Welcome me to the 5% Club....A1c = 5.8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy about that but for some reason my doctor did not order my Cholesterol or my C Reactive Proteins (this one was high last time)...so I called his office and got them to order those tests also....I stopped taking my statin drug after my doctor apt. in July...so checking cholesterol is important so I can prove that point to my doctor....so I will be going back to give more blood...to get checked!

Anyway, I am in the 'club 5%' and aim to stay in it!

Thanks to all the 'trailblazers' who led the way!

Congrats on getting into the 5% club. Hope you are equally successful with the cholesterol numbers.

I got back into the 5% club too. 6.1% when I had my surgery late June, 5.6% this month.
