Default Fish oil - joint pain

Has anyone used fish oil in relief of joint pain? I've tried to find information if fish oil could help with reducing inflammation? I'm tired of hurting so much.

I've started using a combination of fish oil, krill oil and curcumin - all heavy-duty anti-inflammatories - for minor aches/pains, although most definitions don't actually say 'pain', they say it reduces inflammation & swelling. If I need serious relief, I use norco, but this oil/curcumin combo seems to help.

I got the idea from Dr. Michael Eades: http://www.proteinpower.com/drmike/u...ur-nsaid-meds/

I take Krill oil but haven't noticed any pain relief from it. Try it and see if it works for you. It can't hurt, it does have other benefits as well.

Not to be nosy, I don't know what your pain is from, have you seen a doctor for pain relief?

Shanny,

Is it ok if I ask what brand of supplements you are using or did you try Dr. Eades brand? Did you start at a certain dose and then gradually increase? If this works for me, I will be most grateful to you.

My doctor's idea of pain relief is Tylenol, which may work for some people but it doesn't seem to do much for me. Part of my pain is from good ole' arthritis, the other part started after I was in the hospital in September. The nurse who 'attempted' to put an IV in my hand stuck me 4 different places and personally I suspect she injured a nerve in my hand. Now I also have trigger finger that started the same time as the hospitalization. Can't prove it, so I just carry on.

I'm using ProOmega as Dr. Eades suggested, and whatever krill oil I can get in the largest dosage at local outlets. The curcumin is from Potent Organics, Inc., and I ordered it online, but I don't remember where.
