Once you learn how to use those insulins, you can have very good control. I recommend the book "Using Insulin" by John Walsh. Take it slow and easy. Learn as you go. I have used insulin for 66 years and I am very healthy. You can be too. Let us know if you have problems.

I have been Type 1 for 73 years. My A1c is 6.2. I pump with the MM 630, and I am using the Dexcom G5.
