When you have followed the advice of our friends here on this forum you should be puckering up to your MIL soon enough!!

It hasn't been an easy ride and I have worked very hard, as do many others here. The results are worth it though

I'm Soooo jelous.......had it down to 6.6 but it creeped up again

Okay Jac - how did you get it down to 6.6? Are you limiting your carb intake? If you aren't, then start. No sense wasting energy being jealous - get to work controlling it! As Clea says, it ain't easy, but it works.

If you're A1c holds around 6, you are doing fantastic! With all those other life changes you will probably die of old age, not some disease process!

Congrats! A 6.0 is awesome! Don't think otherwise. We tend to get too fixated on numbers and lose sight of the overall picture. As John said, you are much healthier NOW than you were at DX,and isn't that the goal? To be as healthy as we possibly can? Everyone's right! Gi relax, unwind, and enjoy your vaca and celebrate your success!
