One of the best things to ever happen to me is to be the aunt of Spencer and Sally. Love those kiddos.

Kazz, I lived in Adelaide for a year while going to uni. Always loved how it seemed EVERYONE had a nickname or they would shorten everyone's name..

I got my name back in 1994 from my supervisor while on a week long training class.

There was 4 of us from our site in the training class. We were staying in a hotel near the Charlotte, NC airport. We were supposed to have separate rooms, but our reservations got screwed up and they put 2 of us in a room. Mine happened to be with our supervisor.

I woke up the next morning and was by myself. Thinking our supervisor had gotten up a little early and was having breakfast, I knocked on the other room door and he opened the door. He said he couldn't sleep in the same room as me. He knew the folks in the planes flying overhead was asking what the H*** that noise was!

I was also the youngest in our group. When the story got told, he said I was a big ole snoring baby. As our group had nicknames for everybody, mine become Snorebaby and sometimes shorten it to Snorey. The group I worked with had names like, Fuzz, Cooter, Top Cat, Opie, Dad, Chuck (her name was Charlene), so it was just a normal thing to have.

I use Snorebaby on all the forums I am a member of.

Default Nickname

My granddaughter went through a phase of asking every person their name, ALL day long. I got tired of answering Christopher, so I told her Fred. That's the name she used (lol)

Well being Snorebaby's wife, I was given the nickname Snorebabe by one of our Goldwing buddies. And like Snorebaby, I also use it on all forums that I am a member.

As is many others, mine is easy as well (so I don't forget it!.) It's my first name followed by my zip code.
