Nice job on the photo editing, Cricket.

I'm getting back outside and messing around in the dirt. I don't have too many annuals anymore but there's always weeds to pull up and tree debris to sweep up. I don't care what I'm doing, as long as I'm outside.

The house wrens are back - just today I think. A pair usually nests in the gourd birdhouse I have hanging under the arbor. Last year the Carolina wrens, who live here through the winter, nested first, and when they left it after their chicks fledged, a pair of House wrens moved in.

100% whooped today.

I have a feeling I may finally sleep well tonight.

I missed this the other day Cricket but I just wanted to say that was a very nice photo and I like your personal touch.

Thank you. It had been too long since I had spent any time with my Nikon. I hope to get more time out in nature soon. It is very healing for me.

Distraught!

Okay, I realize I should not have this bad habit, but I do and it's unlikely to change. I've been doing a lot of research, and found incredibly wonderful factual sites/pages as well as things of deep interest. I keep the tabs, and yes accumulate quite a lot of them. Since they're transient, I'm lazy, and just because ... I don't use favorites - plus, I like to just scroll back through my tabs.

I had 4 months of treasured pages/sites on tabs - until the last hour. <sob> All gone

Not even sure how it happened exactly, but I tried to restore the pages via History (use Firefox) and it didn't work. Something went tragically wrong.

This is akin to solving my loft clutter problem by burning down the joint. Hey, that's a thought!

Reboot. Always reboot. Why do I forget this basic knowledge?

Last night I opened and closed Firefox repeatedly, went into settings and saw all was as it should be, same problem. Figured it was a bug in recent version, scoured looking for solutions. Reconciled and crashed.

This morning <yawn> booted and ... all my former tabs are back! How'd that happen after all the times I fiddled with the brower, opening and closing?

Mysteriously magical. I'll take it!
