That's an awesome photo. Birds make good subjects for photography.

What's the name of this bird?

These are called Noisy Miners. They are Australian Natives, and they are truly noisy, any more than one of them and theres a total cacophony of shrieking and screaming. I find them cute though, and love watching them have a bath (I have a potplant base filled with water just near those rocks). They havent been for a while but when the weather gets really hot, they are out there screaming for fresh water. Hilarious. Sometimes they dont even wait til I have finished filling their bath

I have other visitors as well. Most recent were a couple of Torresian Crows.

We have had enough rain to last a lifetime this year.

Totally Random Comment:

I had a LONG dream last night that I went on some sort of sweets binge and felt absolutely HORRIBLE about it, even as I was stuffing more chocolate in my mouth.

I could literally TASTE it!

I woke up totally startled and looked around, completely relived that I didn't have any candy wrappers laying around. Thanks goodness I don't keep that stuff in the house.

Yes, I have now officially lost my mind.

That's funny. I had a similar one. I was leading a group from my office on a hike. And I had this big pouch of peanut m&ms that I was devouring as we climbed.

I have a room that is an office/craft/study room. I rearranged some of the furniture which included where the printer and computer set. Hubby was in charge of the cables/wires. No problems.

While I was at it, I took the opportunity to weed through things and got rid of quite a bit. Have more room on the shelves and in the drawers now for my craft activities.

I'm taking up a serious decluttering project and tossing or giving away 25 items from each room each day for 2 weeks. Not much of it is really saleable on Ebay.

I'm also decluttering! I have an amazing loft space that became a storage locker and want it back! Used to be my office, with the longest wall a grand floor to ceiling bookcase I had built. Love being up there. Started by slowly making complete order/declutter everywhere else, and now bring down a few boxes at a time. So much is paper memorabilia, photos, and for much I'm enjoying one last time and tossing, and what I truly can't bear to get rid of am filing - but only things I really want to look at, not things to stash until the next time I declutter! Figure by the end of the year I'll be finished (It's a big loft - and I'm working at a, um, comfortable pace. One laborious paper at a time.)

Doesn't it feel great?
