Ive managed to exercise every day in January

Now that's an accomplishment! I need to take inspiration from you. It has been such a mild beautiful winter here in NC w/ very little rain. I have no excuses, but I'll work on finding some while I'm out for a walk this afternoon ...

Moon you are such a goofball! I love it!

Stormie, give yourself a pat on the back for your accomplishments this past month! I've been trying to be good about exercise, and manage to get to my Zumba class twice a week but it has been difficult since I have been dealing with a couple of herniated discs in my neck, and have to watch the intensity at which I do exercise right now. If I bring my arms up to raise heartbeat, or use bounces during the dancing portion I pay for it the next day with horrible pain and discomfort in my neck and shoulders.

I do try to walk around as much as possible as often as possible, whenever. I also have a tri-level house, so plenty of stairs!

But, keep up the good work!

STORMIE! You go, girl! I better get my rear in gear!

Renee? Would it be possible to wear a cervical collar to stabilize your neck during the workouts? My discs are only bulging, not herniated, so it may be a different situation altogether, but I get a lot of relief from my collar & I always wear it to bed to keep from "sleeping crooked", as it were. Nobody ever prescribed it - I just bought it at my favorite pharmacy & I really need a new one, because after 10+ years, it's getting a little tatty & may fall apart in the wash one of these days.

Way to go, Stormie! It's difficult to motivate yourself to go out and do the exercise when you know the weather is not cooperating so your accomplishment is nothing short of extraordinary!

:

I'm impressed. Even I don't go out if it is raining or snowing. I try to walk everyday that it is above 25, though.
