confirmation that I need that split dose

I FORGOT my morning 4U basal, yesterday ... my preprandial dinner reading was 169!

Sadly, I had made coconut flour-crust pizza, too. So bolused a whopping 6U Novolog! It worked. I was scared of a night hypo though. Then woke to 134 at 5 am.

Onward and upward!

Seriously I do wonder, though, -- how much is IR, and how much is the weird workings of Levemir? This is like driving with beer goggles.

Don't feel bad...I have forgotten to bolus before a meal and my preprandial dinner reading was around 200.

How was the coconut flour-crust pizza? It sounds yummy.

It was okay ... but the crust is CRUMBLY. I might try a mix of flaxmeal and coconut flour, next time ... ot maybe go back to the flax ... This spiked me, BIGTIME. Even with a starting number of 84!!!

The spike is disappointing, and after the work of making it, plus forgetting your insulin. Sometimes I wonder if pizza is worth it, even though I do enjoy having it :D
