I'm a dog person but I also like cats. I have two dogs right now and since moving here no cats. They just would not have a very long life expectancy here outdoors and I can't keep them inside all the time. Right now we have a male Rottweiler and a female mix of boxer and terrier that was a rescue from the local pound. The Rottweiler is a very intimidating 130 pound pile of muscle that is the most gentle and loving guy that just wants attention but I would not advise a stranger to come into the yard. The much smaller female is just three years old and a bundle of energy.

Here's my two kitties in a once-in-a-lifetime shot of them together. Normally my little black fluff-ball stays well away from the orange troublemaker.

Default My babies

Here are my babies... actually the Red one, Kody, is my real baby, the cream one, Piper, is more my husbands dog (the old man is hubby). Piper doesn't like this picture, she thinks it makes her butt look big.

Default Wife with our Dog Kids

Attached is a picture of our Goldens! We run them in AKC hunt tests and I am an active bird hunter. Great fun they are. Our kids are all grown, so as they left home we replaced them with our dogs.....

I love all animals, furred, feathered or scaled makes no difference to me. I have a list of critters. Dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, parrot, snakes, lizard and fish.

Three dogs, Freyja not quite two year old Great Dane. Vegas, just turned 13 y/o Lab/English pointer mix and Shorty a 12 y/o Basset Hound who just gave us a big scare. I though it was the end for him, but he is doing really well now. Though he may have cancer on his spleen, he needs another ultrasound in about six months to see if there is any change.
In Jan. 2015 I had to put down my German Shepherd, Nevada. She and Shorty were best friends and it was hard on him too. She had heart surgery when she was 8ish months old, but did well after. I can't leave her out, she was a very special dog.
Cats range in age from 8 to 17. Kenny has been with me since I was a teen and is my baby, he is fluffy and orange. Sebastian black and white and is over 14, he is . . . special. Lily is next oldest, about 10. She is a tortoise shell. Jade is an orange tabby and gets into everything, she is about 8/9. LG is the youngest, just a few months younger than Jade. He is blue(grey) and white. Him and Jade are the biggest trouble makers.
Ziva is the bratty parrot, a pineapple Green Cheek Conure.
Then there is the two ferrets, boys. PJ and Harley. Two female guinea pigs, Peach and Coco. Bearded Dragon, Stubbs and two ball pythons. Abby is a female spider morph(her pattern is called spider) and Perry is a male champagne morph. I also have a 55 gallon planted fresh water fish tank.

My photobucket is giving me issues. I'm going to try to get some photos posted soon.
