Thanks, Renee. The climate helps, and I do love my gingers in particular.

These next bunches of photos span three seasons, summer, fall and winter. They were taken at a variety of locations around my home.

A little history lesson... the area I go for my walks is called Kulturstigen which can be translated to "The Culture Path". It encompasses an area rich in artifacts from the Iron Age. The stone wall you see in this group of photos marked the path taken to the burial mounds where kings from the era were buried. The lake is called Lake Mälaren and is part of a protected area.
Yes, Stockholm is a beautiful city and the water in the lake Mälaren is clean. About a thousand years ago it was actually a bay in the Baltic, but due to the pressure of the ice during the ice age the ground started to rise when the ice melted. This is still going on and has a maximum of one centimeter every year in the northern parts of the Baltic.

Default Town and shore

Just took a walk today in the neariest city the town of Lund, which has one of the two most reknowned universities in Sweden founded in the year of 1666, the other is Uppsala university founded in 1477.

Picture from the administartion university building built as late as 1882.

The other picture taken yesterday in the fishing village Vikhög about 4 km (2.5 miles) from where I live. Boats on land during winter, but soon there will be a launch (and none of the boats mine ).
